Meditation Zen Music

Music is a part of everyday life, movies, games, telephone systems, public transport, and TV programs and of course musicians, artists and bands all come into our world on a daily basis.  Whether you find the music around you to be frustrating or relaxing depends on the type of music being played, your state of mind and what you are busy with at the time.

A lot of people believe that to meditate properly you have to sit in total silence, which can be disturbing for a lot of people, but there are specific sounds and types of music that have been proven scientifically and with practice to actually assist the meditator during a Zen meditation practice, these sounds are normally natural sounds like the gentle rushing of a river or the chirping of birds, but there are also other types of meditation Zen music which have been found to be very helpful.

A lot of people find it easier to track their meditation times, keep alert and focused and enjoy their Zen meditation with music, simply because the meditation Zen music helps to relax you, and Zen meditation is all about being relaxed and being able to focus on yourself so that you can find that inner peace.

Although there are many different types of meditation Zen music available online either for free on YouTube or to buy on different sites, you will find that some meditation Zen music is more relaxing than others, or that you prefer some tracks to others, this is normal as each human being is different and what you like might not be exactly what your partner or best friend likes.

When you use meditation Zen music, you need to ensure that the track you have chosen is the correct length and that the music does help you to relax, although some meditation Zen music will make you feel like falling asleep or getting up and dancing, you need to find the meditation Zen music that lets you relax, but not so much that you lose your focus and fall asleep and not the track that makes you want to get up and dance, dancing is for another time, not while you are meditating.
