The term meditation zone refers to many different things, all of these are accessible as individuals or as a group, the most important aspect being that you are aware of the meditation zone and prepared to work within the meditation zone so that you can achieve your goals and benefit from your chosen meditation practice.
The meditation zone is the mind-set that you are in while you are meditating, it is also the area you have designated as your meditation space, and it is referring to the brain and the dominant frequency that is active while meditating, that is why a lot of people will say they are in the meditation zone, because they physically and mentally prepared for their meditation session.
If you are battling to get into the meditation zone you can try and use additional tools like meditation music, isochronic tones, meditation classes, mantra’s and even meditation gongs will help you to get into the meditation zone.
It is also important to have your meditation zone set up at all times and ready for your meditation practice, sometimes just sitting in your physical meditation zone, the area where you meditate, will help you to feel more relaxed and ready for your meditation, putting yourself into the meditation zone physically will often lead your mind to the meditation zone.
Each meditator has a different meditation zone, and each meditation practice has a different type of meditation zone, but your mental meditation zone will always be one of relaxed alertness, where you are able to ignore those thoughts and feelings that try and distract you and where you are able to focus on your goals of your meditation practice.
The meditation zone is not some superficial space or mind-set, it is a term for your own space where you meditate and the mind-set that helps you to achieve the benefits of your meditation practice.
